With the coming of the end of the year, I decided to brush off my end of the year questions now. I pulled out my answers for 2013 and looked over them because I wondered if I was going to need to hurry up and begin working on some changes in these last two months of 2014. We all know that December is the crazy month with November being its own version of pre-crazy.
There is not time for anything except eating, over-eating, and planning the new year diet. So this is why I decided to dust off my 25 questions that I found from MindyBodyGreen. I still have time to make changes if I need to.
From these introspective 25 questions, I took four key phrases and wrote them on the inside of my 2014 planner.
Walk into Fear
I hate fear. It controls so many people, and it often keeps me from doing things because I’m scared. That’s unacceptable so these days I try to make my decisions based on what scares me most and then I walk into that thing. Of course, this doesn’t count things that could be damaging to my health.
Write More
Year 2013 filled with many good things did not include very much writing when I consider writing to be one of the supporting pillars in my life. I didn’t want to allow another year to pass without throwing myself into writing.
Eat Less
Don’t you dare think that I’m talking about eating less to lose weight. It’s really all about eating quality food and less overall. I love eating and I love eating good food even more. So let’s eat less crappy food and more deliciously amazing food.
Seek Adventure
Life can be boring, but why let it be that way when you can choose to have an adventurous life. I think boring is a choice. I really do. So therefore, choose something different if ennui is sneaking into your life.
Here are the 25 questions from MindBodyGreen and Ashley Wilhite that helped shape my mission phrases for the year 2014.
What About You?
Have you been pleased with the way you’ve lived 2014? Or do you need to do a quick catch-up before the year ends?
