These are a few of my favorite things: eating yogurt with frozen fruit (forgetting to take a photo), sunshine shyly glowing through curtains, and building inspiration posts like this. Sometimes I know EXACTLY what belongs. Sometimes I have no idea.
But, I love serenading the new month with new inspirations!
What Iโm Being Inspired By
Current Jam:
I am absolutely obsessed with Natalie Grant’s “More Than Anything.” Do you know how sometimes you’re listening to a song and the lyrics just grab you by the arm? Gosh, this is me.ย
Yup, it’s the perfect prayer over your day, or a really great way to begin your morning.
Current Food:
Doughnuts, doughnuts, doughnuts. I really can’t seem to get enough of them. Last week, I HAD to go out and buy myself two. I couldn’t get them out of my head. Every bite was better than the last, and I’m glad that I splurged.
Current Read:
If the cover isn’t enough to coax you to pick up this novel, let me tell you that I’ve been tearing right through this book. Somewhere along the way, the characters got tucked into my heart, and I want to know who will live, love, and survive the Civil War.
Pre-order YOUR copy! Releases April 12, 2018!!
Current Obsession:
*covers face* I’m such a goober. But I’m also obsessed with the bruises that I earn from my aerial activities. The ones you see above are from learning aerial straps.
Others may say I’m crazy for loving my bruises, but I will always see these hard-earned bruises as badges of awesome.
Current Quote:
Am I allowed to quote myself?? I’m also really excited about these bookmarks! I thought it would be fun to have some to giveaway as I prepare for my debut novel!
Whatโs Inspiring YOU?

My 2018 goals: buy twenty copies of Barbara’s book (AND a Barbara bookmark!) and tell everyone I know the author! ๐

You are hilarious! I’ll GIVE you bookmarks. ๐ I know my book isn’t fantasy, but I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway! I’m excited for you to have it. You da best.

I LOVE YOUR ALICE IN WONDERLAND MUG!
Lately, I’ve been really inspired by Simon & Garfunkel. The more I listen to them, the more I’m in awe of their artistic abilities (and also incredibly jealous that I don’t have their skills).
Barbara says
My roommate gifted the mug to me for my birthday because I have a serious addiction to the quirky world and stunning soundtrack from the new movies.
Ooooo. Simon & Garfunkel. You know that you’ve just sent me on a new listening spree, right? Because the are just so good!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

I love that you just enjoyed April’s inspirations at the beginning of May!! Hehehe, just in time for May’s post. But I absolutely enjoy these posts so much.
