Nothing is better than diving into a book series that just pulls you in, and you can read through the entire series because all of the titles are already released! Ugh, it’s so good.
And I’m utterly obsessed with the Brown Sister series, and this has inspired a new series of blog posts to celebrate Binge-Worthy Book Series! It will be a slow blog series as it requires me to actually read an entire series before I go raving, but I already have another series in mind (I’m looking at you, Chloe Liese and Penny Reid).
For the record, The Brown Sisters is not a clean romance series, so there are scenes you may desire to skip if you prefer clean romance. But, I do absolutely love the storytelling you’ll find in Talia Hibbert’s series.
Binge-Worthy Book Series: The Brown Sisters by Talia Hibbert
The Brown Sisters are three sisters: Chloe, Dani, and Eve. They’re British, black, and fully themselves. While Chloe lives life with chronic pain, Dani intellectualizes life while Eve can’t seem to settle down to a passion/life direction. Honestly, there’s something to love about each of these women as they discover themselves AND fall in love. Swoooon.
Book 1: Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
On a scale of Brussels sprouts to cotton candy, Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert is a pecan sticky bun. Sweet yet a bit nutty, every bite has a crunch.
Chloe Brown is her own brand of a strong woman with her own opinions, but she’s also a woman dealing with chronic illness and pain. She’s happy with her life, and then she meets her hottie neighbor, and everything spins out of control.
Can I just say that I’m still swooning over this story and the following Brown sister novels? Talia Hibbert has another lifelong fan, and I can’t sing this series enough praises. If you’re on the fence, get off the fence and jump into this incredible story!
Book 2: Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert
On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert is a chipotle chocolate bar. Sweet yet spicy, you’ll have to eat the whole bar of chocolate.
Dani tends to hyperfocus, and she doesn’t have time for relationships. But then, one thing leads to another, and now she’s in a kind-of-sort-of relationship with a hunk from work. It’s fine. She can keep her head on straight, right?
Cue the swooooons. I loved Dani Brown so very much, and maybe I felt like I related to her most out of the three sisters. But I just love the perspective that Talia Hibbert brought to this character. I highly recommend.
Book 3: Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert
On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert is a sprinkle-filled cupcake. A soft bite offers the surprise of a colorful, crunchy explosion.
Eve Brown is the youngest sister, and she hasn’t quite figured out what she’s good at yet. She has lots of ideas, but nothing sticks until her parents lay out an ultimatum, and well, there’s the incident where she hits a man with her car.
I really wish I could reread this series as though I had never read it before because that’s how good it is. Talia Hibbert brings another unique and interesting love story of self-discovery and growth, and I just love it.
Do you have a series that you binged? Tell me about it in the comments or on social media!
