June 2018 Inspiration

My June 2018 goal is to make it to the pool a few times (and yes, this can happen in July and August too). Last year, I wanted to. And it never happened. Then, it was cold.

June is going to be insanely busy for me (hello, wedding season).

What I’m Being Inspired By

Current Jam:

Okay, Sigrid. I love her quirky sound. It makes me want to be a wood nymph and dance around like a crazy. But, here’s the thing. I couldn’t choose which version I liked better. Do you like the original or the remix?

Current Food:

If you follow me on Instagram, it’s likely that you’ve noticed that every Tuesday that I need to get my hummus fix. And yum, Hello Hummus is my go-to. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, get thyself to a farmer’s market and buy some hummus!

Current Read:

This book is a TOME. A week ago, I called up the library that I borrowed it from to beg for an extension because I’d already used up all my renewals. Thankfully, no one had placed a hold on it.

Seriously. So good. Have you read anything by Patrick Rothfuss?

Current Obsession:

I participated in Sandra Byrd‘s annual tea cup/mug exchange. Since I chose to swap with someone internationally (I have a soft spot for international livers), I didn’t get my mug until a month or so ago. And I’m in love. It’s the perfect shape, and it’s PICASSO.

Current Quote:

For me, an inspiration post doesn’t feel complete without some aerial involved. The aerial arts have been so instrumental in my relationship to my body, and my ability to trust myself. And since tasting this type of flight, I don’t think I could ever stop again.
