Okay, Falling for You has caused quite a stir in the book blogger world. If you haven’t noticed, I’m not sure where you’ve been, but stand up and take note. As other book bloggers trumpeted their excitement for this book, I knew I had to get my hands on a copy.
[Copy received. Opinions my own.]
I love working with Bethany House Publishers because they continually release well-written books. And Becky Wade’s Falling for You made my heart flip quite a few times.
I mean, Willow. And Corbin. Swoon. You gotta read it.
About Falling for You
Series: A Bradford Sisters Romance
Genre: Adult, Christian, Contemporary, Romance
Publisher: Bethany House Publishers
Famously beautiful model Willow Bradford is taking a temporary break from her hectic schedule to work as the innkeeper at her family’s small-town bed-and-breakfast. She was enjoying the peace of her hometown, Merryweather, Washington, right up until she came face-to-face with Corbin Stewart, the man she loves to hate. A thoughtful rule-follower by nature, Willow threw caution to the wind four years ago when she entrusted her heart to Corbin–and suffered the consequences when it all fell apart.
Former NFL quarterback Corbin is forceful, charming, and accustomed to getting what he wants . . . except where Willow Bradford is concerned. Unable to forget her, he’s never stopped regretting what happened between them. When their paths unexpectedly cross again, he’s determined to make her give him a second chance.
When a decades-old missing persons case finds Corbin and Willow working together, they’re forced to confront their past and who they’ve become–and whether they can risk falling for one another all over again.

About the Author
Becky is the Carol and Christy award winning author of heartwarming, humorous, and swoon-worthy contemporary inspirational romances.
She loves to connect with readers via her web site, www.beckywade.com, and via her Facebook author page, www.Facebook.com/AuthorBeckyWade
During her childhood in California, Becky frequently produced homemade plays starring her sisters, friends, and cousins. These plays almost always featured a heroine, a prince, and a love story with a happy ending. She’s been a fan of all things romantic ever since.
These days, you’ll find Becky in Dallas, Texas failing to keep up with her housework, trying her best in yoga class, carting her three kids around town, watching TV with her Cavalier spaniel on her lap, hunched over her computer writing, or eating chocolate.
Cordially Barbara’s Review
On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Falling for You by Becky Wade is a healthy fruit smoothie. Fresh and frozen fruit churned with crushed ice and based with hearty yogurt creates pure yumminess. Is it dessert or breakfast? No one cares.
Willow is running the inn for her family while taking a break from her modeling career, and she’s enjoying herself until her old flame and ex-NFL football player shows up. When a sweet preteen asks Willow to help look for her missing great aunt, Willow has a hard time saying no. Saying yes to solve this missing person case means spending time with her ex-boyfriend.
Book bloggers have been excited for this novel for a long time, and their anticipation caught my attention. I knew I had to read it. I’m so glad I did. Becky Wade’s characters swept me off my feet with their real-life-relatable struggles and interesting lives. The story had a good pace, and I enjoyed the character growth as well. Honestly, it warmed my heart so much that I don’t think there was a part that I didn’t like.
If you enjoy romance with a touch of light mystery, Falling for You is a must-read.
Falling for You Struggles
I’m truly not sure if I can honestly admit to struggles for Falling for You. I guess my one complaint was that, for me, it seemed to start more slowly.
I also had a moment where I was confused between two female characters, which sent me to read the back cover copy to help orient myself.
But I mean, what kind of complaints are those really! Hahaha.
Falling for You LOVEs
- For me, the characters of Willow and Corbin flew off the page. I loved their relatable struggles. And I have soft spot for stories where the characters start off with a bit of hate between them. Call me a softie. Ha.
- LOVED the missing person mystery. That added a bit of sizzle and excitement to the story. Not only was I invested in Willow and Corbin, but I also wanted them to be successful in their search.
- LOVED how Becky Wade brought in the Bradford sisters. Although I was lightly familiar with the sisters already, I think she did a great job of bringing each to life in their limited page time.
- Also, TOTALLY want to know what happens with Zander and a certain sister!
- AND GUYS, this cover. STUNNING.
