Pepper D. Basham. This woman write beautiful romantic fiction. I remember her first novel, and I remember being struck with her swoony romance but also her nitty gritty grip on reality in her stories. These characters could be REAL people.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a few of them in real life. And so this is why I always go back to her books for something wonderful.
And what could be more wonderful than a country girl traveling to England?
