My dad and I joke that February is the shortest month of the year for a reason…because it’s kind of the worst. So let’s hurry up and get it over with! And no, I’m not talking about the commercialization of love. It’s the dreary weather, overabundance of snow and ice, and gray days.

So this February, let’s cozy up under blankets to watch movies and read books and cuddle.

Current Jam:

I love when people share music with me. It keeps me from getting into a music rut…although I still have my music tendencies. So if you ever love a song so much and want to share it, send it to me!

Current Food:

I’m obsessed, and I don’t who care who knows! When a friend told me that I had to try Doce Taqueria, she was not wrong. Now I’m always trying to find a good reason to go.

Current Read:

This book has been on my To-Read List for way too long, and I’m loving it. I’m not brilliant. Never will be, but I like to put my head down and work. I love that this book takes the time to show that what we often call talent or brilliance is a huge dose of hard, hard work.

Current Obsession:

My nightstand is so pretty during the day. I love how the light filters in and brushes everything brilliant. It’s my peaceful space.

Also, I’ve been obsessed with this cuteness recently as well. I don’t have any fur babies, but I’ve recently become a pet sitter for a few friends.

And this lil guy made me understand what pet owners mean when they say that they can’t move because their pet is sleeping on them.

Can we just talk about how adorable it is that he’s using my hand as a pillow?
