I’m late for June’s inspiration post because I had too many wonderful books to share! I just wrote about Wings of the Wind by Connilyn Cossette and Seven Brides for Seven Mail-Order Husbands by Carrie Fancett Pagels. Both authors are pretty amazing.
But I so enjoy creating this inspiration posts each month. So here’s JUNE!
What I’m Being Inspired By
I’m still in love with circus performance arts if you’re curious, but I’m trying not to overwhelm this space with circus everything. But, my gym just moved to Iron City Circus Arts in the South Side of Pittsburgh. And it’s a gorgeous space!
Current Jam:
I really enjoy the quality of the track behind Rita’s lyrics. I really like that popping sound? Do you know what I’m talking about it. To me, it almost sounds like bubbles. I don’t know.
Current Food:
Come on, summer—true summer is ALL about the ice cream. And ice cream always tastes better when someone else buys it for you. Hehehe. This cone flaunts Birthday Cake and Raspberry Truffle!
Current Read:
This cute collection of novellas entertained me for a full week with three duos who really stumble right into their relationships. I think my favorite had to be the final novella because the story seemed more believable and the transitions were better. Definitely worth taking to the beach for your vacation!
Current Obsession:
An author friend, Meghan M. Gorecki, tagged me on a post on Facebook (by @jennybravobooks) challenging me to #littlefiction. And for once, I thought it would be SO fun to participate (I really fail at participating sometimes). The best part is it’s a small space to challenge yourself. YOU SHOULD JOIN US!
Current Quote:
Okaaaay, so I had to have a little bit of circus in here. And so here’s a lovely trapeze. I’ve only had two classes of trapeze and hoop. However, I already feel like a beast! That’s the beauty of circus.
What’s Inspiring YOU?
