A lot of times when we think about how we can help others, we think of these grandiose schemes. If the thing is not big and brilliant, then it’s not worth our time. Not true.
Write a letter.
Send an email.
Plan a package.
Recently, a friend of mine sent me a surprise package. It wasn’t my birthday. I hadn’t been having a bad week nor was there a special holiday involved.
The note was simple.
Basically
Barbara, I was thinking of you and decided to send you a package.
This friend knows my love of chai tea, so she had included a box of chai.

She sent a mug that’s a replica mug that Jess from New Girl uses. Now, I can sit around in cute 50s styled dresses and pretend I have huge, beautiful blue eyes and bangs that could kill.

And finally, she included a book that she had suggested I read. The thoughtfulness of this box just took my breath away. And encouraged me so much.
Maybe this month you should plan a gift package into your budget. Everyone loves a package.
What About You?
Have you ever received a surprise package in the mail with such goodness that you walked around on air for the next day?
