Ever have grand plans for the warmer months and realize you do none of them? Okay, so I’m not the only one, and this year, I want to type up a list of 2021 summer adventures for Pittsburgh (and beyond)!
Summer 2021: Pittsburgh & Beyond
The Eats
hi, it’s me, Barbara. Did you really think you’d get away without some sort of food dream? Okay, let’s get down to the eats of Pittsburgh.
Page’s Dairy Mart
I don’t even care that I’ve been here many times. It’s just delicious and such a fun experience! So if you haven’t been, it’s time.
Coop de Ville
This cute “Southern Table” restaurant has been haunting my social media for months now, and it just looks so cute. I must go!
Bae Bae’s Kitchen
My goodness, this is another gem that I’ve been wanting to check out, but I just haven’t made the time! And that’s on me!
The Sites
Pittsburgh has so many interesting things to enjoy from museums to parks to amusement parks! So what shall we choose?!
Kennywood
It’s been a hot second, and I’m not totally sure that I’ll feel ready to go until there are more vaccinations for everyone. But I’d love to go on a sticky summer day!
Canton Avenue
Officially recorded as the steepest street in the United States, Canton Avenue is in Pittsburgh, and I’m pretty sure that I have NEVER been. What kind of horror is this?!
Strip District
The hustle and bustle of the Strip District is all sorts of good entertainment. I’d love to make time to head down there (and probably stop at Coop de Ville simultaneously).
The Randoms
Sometimes there are just random things that don’t fit the general categories so here we are!
Vinoski Winery in Belle Vernon
Last summer, at the end of the season, a bunch of us enjoyed wine and live music out on the lawn of this stunning mansion spa space, and I’d love to recapture that feeling again.
BaM Choreography #DancetheBurgh
I’d love to take the time to do a dance class with BaM Choreography and maybe another studio too. But this group of people are just awesome.
DIY Some Furniture
Yeah, let’s get our crafty on while it’s the summer, and it’s comfortable to be outside crafting!
What kind of shenanigans do you hope to get up to during the summer 2021??? Any suggestions?
