When I got whisked away on a spontaneous trip to NYC with friends, I decided to haul a copy of Teal Paisley Tights around the city with me. And yes, I was that friend that stopped my friends for random photos with my book.
From my perspective, I think Jadyn Simon, the main character of Teal Paisley Tights, would have been so delighted by the city. The weekend was perfect with cool summer temperatures and plenty of sunshine.
Here’s the moment that I realized the day was halfway over, and I had totally forgotten to pull TPT out of my bag for any pictures. So what better place than the Canal Street subway station?
This picture is more about me, I think. It’s the New York Public Library, and the only thing that would have made the day better is if there had been a whole extra 24 hours for exploring that library!
Hello, stunning artwork!
This photo is hands down my favorite.
Oh, wait. This one might be my fave. Gah, so many fun shots.
It wouldn’t be a day spent with Jadyn in mind without a cup of coffee because she’s all about her coffee. And I, I actually needed coffee that day too! I went with a Cafe Misto.
And Times Square was everything overwhelming.
But I’m so glad that Teal Paisley Tights and I got to run around NYC together (and I mean, with my friends too).
